Several people have been asking how we are with the hurricanes. We are great! Our lawn was watered enough for the rest of the year, so we are good! The winds didn't hurt us, but it just poured for days. Chris kept wondering when we moved to Vancouver. Cally did not enjoy the hurricane as much, but we did end up with some great pics of her. Poor Chris had the roughest time, though. Even after the rain stopped, the golf course was closed for days due to flooding. Chris even went out one day to find ducks swimming down the 16th fairway!
Our little trooper. Cally is terrified of thunder and rainstorms due to a traumatic experience as a puppy before we got her. We were very proud of her although she looks a little more like Paddington Bear here.
Chris took this in one of his sad attempts to go golfing. The floaty things in bottom left of the water are birds swimming on the golf course!

Glad everyone did okay with FAY! Looks like more headed your way. Cally looks so cute in her little rain coat, but not happy to be out in the rain. Maybe Chris needs to find an indoor driving range since the hurricanes are lining up. You're lucky your house didn't flood after seeing the picture of your flooded street! We love you all and we stay glued to the weather channel when the hurricanes are headed your way! Love, Mom and Dad
Tell you neighbors across the street that they REALLY need to mow their lawn.
glad you guys are ok and i love the rain coat for cally, i don't think my cats would like it too much.
I love Calley's raincoat! That is the best and I'm sure she appreciates not getting as wet! :)
